Are there Duck Commander fans in your family? I’ll admit, we have a few around here!
We love watching the Robertson family and their adventures. We appreciate the values they bring to our world.
This week, we’ve been reading through the Duck Commander Devotions for Kids.
This book is well written. I’ve enjoyed working through the devotions with my children but it is simple enough for children to work through on their own, or with a friend!
Each devotion contains a scripture verse (or verses),a short lesson, an idea section for putting what you’ve learned into action and a prayer.
A ribbon bookmark is added to the binding so you can easily keep your place from day-to-day. (This was a huge positive for me!)
Each lesson is easy to read and applicable to daily life. The life situations have led to some great conversation with children. These kinds of teaching moments make this momma “happy, happy, happy!”.
My family has enjoyed reading through our copy. My husband was impressed with the lessons and my 7 and 10-year-old boys actually read the entire book as soon as he opened it! (…and we were NEEDING something to keep that 7 year old busy after his accident!)
Here’s a short video from Chrys Howard and Kori Robertson:
Now you have a great chance to win a copy for your home!
Leave your information in the area below. I’ll hold the random drawing on February 14, 2015. If you are chosen, I’ll email for your address!! (This offer is only open to US residents.)
Note: I received a copy of Duck Commander Devotions for Kids to review. I was not required to post a positive review.
Of course our favorite character is Uncle Si!
Mr. G would love this. Seriously! He loves Uncle Si too!
We love Uncle Si, too. We have enjoyed this book a great deal…I can’t wait to see who wins!
My great grand sons would enjoy this book. I enjoy reading your post, Tracy.
Si’s humor and Phil’s uncanny calmness no matter what – they both crack me up. And then there’s Gordon…. Tracy, I sure hope I did enter for the Duck Commander Devotions give-away. I certainly tried to, but I can’t tell if it actually “took”! Thanks!
Linda, I see your entry! I can’t wait to see who wins!
