Freezer Foods

Ok…another day of not cooking for the freezer. 🙂

What a great idea and an easy lunch even the little Lamberts to pull out of the freezer!

We made three loaves of bread into freezer sandwiches this morning. Each one was tucked neatly into a folding-flap sandwich bag and then stacked neatly back in the bread bag. (I had read in the blog comments those folding flap sandwich bags allow them to defrost without becoming soggy. Also, spreading peanut butter on both pieces of bread will keep the bread firm.

  1. Every time I make a PB&J sandwich, I always spread both pieces of bread with the peanut butter, so that the jelly does not soak through the bread and get my fingers sticky.
