Sickness slows us down, but can’t stop the progress.

We still don’t have a date set for the actual appraisal, but my due date is quickly approaching so I’m trying to find a place to stop while I welcome our new little one.

This week (well, actually at the end of last week), our contractor finished hanging our drywall. He has a couple of spots we need him to touch up, but nothing too bad.

I’ve been looking at colors for our new dining room. I like the last on the right the best, I think.

The older boys have been working to finish out some of the new windows. We had some large gaps from the old windows being removed. We had to think creatively about how to properly finish them out…I think I’m in love with these chunky window trims. I may be asking for these through the entire house as we drywall the remaining rooms.

I’ve been painting these new trims and the new french doors on our pantry and leading into what will be the new family room.
