This Week’s Couponing

This has been a *VERY* good week for couponing.

I ended up with 2 FREE reams of paper, plus one additional pack from STAPLES. They run this deal every now and then but I’ve not been brave enough to try…I figured I would this week, and it worked beautifully!!

There were no really interesting deals at Rite Aid and Walgreen’s this week, but I racked up at CVS:

After manufacturer’s coupons and ECB’s, I paid just over $!4.00 for all of this!!

6 bottles of detergent
3 tubes of toothpaste
1 can of soup
1 bottle of nail polish
1 bottle of mouthwash
1 bottle of baby wash
and 3 packages of diapers in various sizes

I was VERY happy.

Our shelves are beginning to fill again. I’ve missed coupons. 😀

Then there was Target:

This is a smaller purchase:

6 bars of Zest soap
12 bars of Irish Spring
4 tubes of Ladies’ Speed Stick
2 packages of mechanical pencils
2 packages of wooden pencils

EIGHTY FOUR CENTS- TOTAL!

I stacked Target coupons with manufacturer coupons. Then I used two gift cards I had earned from other couponing trips.

Jacob was with me. As we were walking away he asked, “Wait, how much did you just pay for that??”.

…but, by far my favorite part was hearing the cashier gasp when she told me my total. Awesome.

I don’t have my couponing system as organized as I did a year ago, but we’re getting there.

I think this this week, we’re going to try to add Publix back to the mix. I try to combine these trips with visits into town I’m making already.

How about you? Do you coupon? Have you found some really great deals lately??
