While the larger parts of our home have been receiving the most attention, I’ve also been spending some moments here and there on some smaller areas!

This was my sock drawer last week:

I’m not sure I even wore half of these socks, and one of the fun parts of big family life has been always having to look for matching socks, (though, I do think I’m conquering this problem!).

I’ve thought and thought about ideas to organize the drawers. I’ve been using little cloth bins from the dollar store but they would eventually collapse in the drawers when laundry is being placed away. They just weren’t as functional as I would have liked!

I found these at Target last week:

Extendables are around $6 for two. They come out of the box flat, but assembly is easy.

They will expand out to fit your drawer…they fit mine perfectly!

This is where I keep my hose:

I’m ashamed to say I had NO idea how many pair I had because the drawers had become so disorganized! Now they are all neat and I can see them easily. That makes me happy!!

They also include a warranty. I think I might be buying more for other drawers.

I have to say, I have walked by a few times just to peek into the drawers and look…they look so nice and neat. I’m not sure if they would hold up well in my children’s drawers. I may be looking at other options for their drawers.

This drawer organization is making me excited to see where else I might improve our organization!!!  In the middle of all the construction mess, at least I’m seeing something neat!
