With the older two boys working, all the youngest Lamberts sleeping, and everyone else at art class, Jon and I are left alone every Friday afternoon for a few hours.

I try to plan something fun each week. I hope he’ll look back with fondness as he remembers this time with me each week. I sure love these moments with him!

So, this morning, Jessica and I went to visit with my dear grandmother.

On the way home, I picked up a few supplies and headed home for our afternoon time.

We painted sun-catchers for my grandmother, baked snacks for the other children when they returned, worked on a project for the house (which I’ll post on a little later!), ate a special lunch with Joshua, and chatted an afternoon away.

He is such a sweetie. I love every single minute I have with him!
