Friday, a storm passed though that knocked our power off for a few hours.

I felt myself beginning to grumble as we lit candles, and looked for a radio.

Who wants to be inconvenienced with no air conditioning and no lights?!

As the minutes passed, I think God whispered to my heart. I needed a little reminder that these are the moments we’ll be thinking about years from now– those times where memories are made.

We ended up having the greatest time!! …I ended up praying “thank you” for what seemed like something bad, but was actually very sweet.
