The past months have been difficult in many ways, to say the least.

My children have lived every moment of this experience with me, but I guess Courtney being the oldest, has felt this with me.

She is a blessing…a gift from God. She has been right by my side through this entire year.

I’m just blessed to have her.

This afternoon, I went out to finish buying our stocking stuffers. (Joshua treated me to lunch while we were out at a local Mexican place. …that’s a whole other sweet story. He does this every month, or so.)

When I arrived back home, I found these little notes on my bedroom mirror.

She has a sweet spirit. I am so incredibly blessed. Many folks complain about their adult children- I have had the opposite experience entirely.
