Eggs…

It’s the little things in life I think so many of us are so quick to overlook. Yet, these very things can bring so much joy! This was too sweet not to share….our neighbors are always sharing eggs with our family. It’s a blessing for us in more ways than one. This week, Courtney snapped a shot of these:

The New Chicken House…Progress

We’ve long known we were going to have to have more secure housing for our chickens. It’s been a project for a month or so for my men. Here’s where we are thus far (thank you, Courtney, for great pics!!):

1st Potato

This is our 1st “found” potato. It wasn’t exactly meant to be pulled. We had sent the little boys to weed one of the garden beds. Their instructions didn’t exactly match their actions. Thankfully, we caught them before any more were dug up…. In any case, we’re proud. Hopefully, we’ll be pulling up many more soon!!
