We’re here.

The weather, in Alabama, was horrible last week.

Paul and I sat around our table on Thursday morning with tears as we counted heads and both agreed how thankful we were to God for protecting our family on Wednesday.

I’m not sure I can say some parts of this state will ever be the same, but I’m so very impressed to see the love and generosity that has been shared amongst this community.

People are giving of themselves in ways I’ve never witnessed. It’s good to live in the south!

We have some trees that still need to be cleaned up. Hopefully, in the next week or so, we’ll have those cut apart and ready for firewood. Until then, they are a reminder that this time last week, we were still without power and praying (as we still are…) for those that lost their homes, or worse, family members and friends.

Please continue to pray…this is going to be a long recovery process.

Thank you also for the email I have received from many of you. I wish I could tell you how much I appreciate your care and concern. <3 With love,
