Sock Day!

I‘m still working on managing socks a little better around here but I thought this would give you just a little preview of what “sock day” is like at the Lambert house. This isn’t even half of what we fold and put away in our home when we match the socks.

Today is Friday. It feels like this week has flown by….it’s been a rather hard week around here.

I’m not going to write much today. Frankly, I’m needing to adjust my attitude a bit and we’ll just leave it at that.

Prayer Requests:

My friend, Tanya, called this morning and asked for prayer over her van. The man who has been working on it thinks that it may be having a malfunction in the electrical system.

For me. Sometimes it just seems like so many things fall in at once, it’s hard to continue to try to have a good attitude. I just want to run and hide! On a different note, I did make an appointment to go and see a Dr. about my finger!

Today, I’m Thankful For:

Miss Jessica decided to make my bed as a surprise for me!

That tomorrow is Saturday.

The warm sun shining in through my office window.

The extra work that my husband has been given tomorrow.

That is seems everyone has gotten through the cold winter with no real sickness.

What I’m Learning:

The most effective alarm clock in the house is Benjamin! I sent him to go and wake up his brothers and sisters this morning. He said “O.K!” and then took off running. I could hear him yelling “Get Up and Get Dressed” all the way to the other end of the house. I was informed later that he had also switched everyone’s lights on.

Today’s Scripture Meditation:

Proverbs 23:18

“There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.”
(NIV)
