Courtney mentioned last week she thought Matthew was having a hard time reading. I decided it was time for an eye exam. I neglected to mention it to Matt until the last minute.

I felt a little bad for him…just the mention of an eye exam made his eyes water. 😀

As it turns out, just like his papa and his oldest sister, Matthew needs glasses. We’ll pick them up on Friday.

On the same day, Darby and Jackson had check ups with our pediatrician of 17 years. I love her…I feel like she’s a member of our extended family.

This was NOT our best day. Thrush, two ear infections, and a diaper rash later, we came away with five different meds. I did get the ear meds filled, but we’ve been trying yogurt for the thrush. It seems to be working just fine.

When it rains, it pours.
