This year, has been a little rough from the start.

On this night, my entire family is sick. The flu has apparently made it’s appearance. A friend called it a “Lamdemic”. 😀

Some are now recovering. Some are just beginning to sniffle.

Each week has been filled with pain, but also filled with joy. We’ve had friends pour out love to our family…ministering with prayers and food. It has been a blessing to body and spirit.

Yes, we’ve been sick. Seeing my littles (and not so littles), feeling so poor has been hard. We also had the first snow we’ve seen in a couple of years.

I knew I had found “home” when we had our first snow just after moving here. Seeing the backyard from our family room windows seemed almost magical as the children played and the snowflakes fell.

Thank God for joy in the moments of every day life….
