Book Review: God Bless My Boo Boo

This has been a very long year for my family.

Since January, we have been faced with one trial, and then another. Illness, surgery, the car wreck…it goes on and on.

While sometimes it seems it would be so easy to wallow in self pity, these are the moments we learn and grow the most. The Lord uses these moments to teach and train us. We are never outside of His hand. The beauty of this life is knowing the Lord loves and cares for us in the big things and the small, even when they aren’t so easy to endure. This is one way we can “count it all joy when we face trials of many kinds”.

This month’s book review for Tommy Nelson included a little book called God Bless My Boo Boo. It’s message for little ones is a sweet reminder that the Lord cares for all our needs.

A few quick details, this book is a 20 page, board book with a soft and padded cover. It’s a safe book for the youngest of my children without concern that they will tear pages.

Each page has soft colored illustrations of baby animals with their families and leads a child back to the Lord for healing and comfort.

I’m always impressed with Tommy Nelson’s books for children. They always have a simple reminder of love that is just sweet.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my blog post. I was not required to post a positive review.
