My children are blessed to have two, loving Grandparents. I have a sweet Grandmother that I love dearly…. wishing them all a Happy Grandparent’s Day!

Mr. B….

My little boy– how can you not just smile? When we had dinner a few nights back, I looked over to see Ben having popped the sticks out of both corn dogs. He had chopped his up into small pieces and was using the sticks as chopsticks to eat. Little boys are too much fun!

Punishment? Hmmm…

Tracy / September 10, 2010

So one child was found to have taken a piece of gum from his brother’s drawer without asking. I thought it would be a good idea to make him “pay” for this gum by doing work for his older brother….it didn’t work out quite the way I had anticipated. Folding his brother’s film supplies… Does this look like he’s learning…

It’s Been Said….

I wasn’t going to post another quote this week, but I really loved this one and thought it might be an encouraging word for one of you ladies! “I think part of our frustration, as first generation Christians, may come from wanting for ourselves (understandably) what we were not given (a Christian heritage). Quilt Thoughts…

Tracy / September 8, 2010

I have a couple of quilt projects I need to work. Here are a few I’m considering: Which ones do you like? Do any seem too “trendy”? I really want to stick to classic patterns and designs so they will not look too dated. I think my favorites are the first and last, but the pinwheels have a certain appeal…

WFMW- Soap Saver

Tracy / September 8, 2010

Time for another installment of Works For Me Wednesday! For this week’s tip, I’m sharing how I make hubby’s soap last longer. He is an Irish Spring man. Honestly, I love the way it smells, but it is on the pricey side. When we were in our mobile home, I was constantly having to find ways to save space. I…

We have waited on this day for a week! Paul has been away on business. This is day seven– The day he returns home– The day I’ll be able to see my sweetheart’s face again– The day things return to normal (if there is a normal around here, LOL!)– The day I will get some sleep. Having a husband that…
