It has just been a long (very long!) month!

Today, I decided I would devote some time to my blog.

My poor, abandoned, blog.

Thank you, ladies, who have sent me a little note to tell me you are praying for my family. It means so much.

I wish you were all closer. We could sit on the porch, in the warm summer air, and sip on a glass of iced tea. You could tell me all about the recent happenings in your lives, and I could share mine with you.

In our home, these past weeks, we’ve had several birthdays (two, just this past week!), some illness (including kidney stones for dear Paul), and so many other things, it’s hard just now to remember it all.

We’re continuing to work on our home, and continuing to prepare for our newest baby– now, just weeks from his arrival.

Today, I’ve been researching diaper bags, and making lists of what is needed before he makes his appearance.

…..still so much to do!

In addition, I ordered this software:

I’ve been comparing cookbook software for some time and it seems to be just what I needed to organize our kitchen. I’ll post updates in the coming weeks as I grow a little more familiar with it– so far, so good!!

I have to run for now. I just wanted to say hello, and tell you all how much I’ve missed our writing. Blogging, for me, is a time to rest and relax….a time of reflection on the many blessings I have been given from the Lord. Hopefully, I won’t be so long returning next time.
