Two meetings down and one left for Paul today. I’ve talked to him a few times and things seem to be going well for him. I’m so glad. He works so hard, it’s nice to see things begin to come together.
Today, I’m working on p.j.’s for Jessica. They’ve been cut out and sitting in my sewing basket for quite some time so I have finally made time for them. I’ve been working on knitting two more dishcloths for Courtney as well.
Still on the list is getting some much needed yard work done. Today, it is trimming bushes and hedges in the back of my home. They seem to grow out of control before I can blink!
The picture today is of Jessica in her third dress. This was probably my favorite fabric because of all the multi-colored lady bugs. I’m really pleased with Walmart’s selection of fabric right now. They seem to be carrying more of a good, quality selection of fabrics.
I’m still working on learning to use my new cellular phone. Paul and I are pretty excited about the Cingular plan that we have. It’s a great deal because we can talk to each other or any other Cingular Wireless customer without it being counted against our minutes. If you have cell service or are looking for a provider, this is definitely one to check out!
Today’s Prayer Requests:
My sweet friend Christy, hurt her back before the weekend.
Paul for the meetings that he has left for today.
Sue, a friend of my friend, Kimberly.
Today, I’m Thankful For:
Being able to eat out tonight! (This is a treat that we rarely have….in fact it’s been well over a month! We’re excited!)
The view of bed sheets hanging out in the wind drying. I know it sounds odd but, it is really a relaxing thing to just sit and watch them blowing in the breeze.
My daughter in the other room practicing piano. I love listening to them practice each day…
The meetings that have went so well this morning.
Paul now having an office space for The Concierge Network.
One additional one! I actually talked Paul into trying summer squash last night and he liked it! I was so excited!
Tracy’s Task:
I hope that at least a few people joined me for yesterday’s challenge in cleaning out purses and diaper bags. I always feel so much more “put together” when things are organized and I can find what I need.
Today, a challenge of a different kind. This one took me an hour this morning because I had over 300 messages sitting in my email box! Today, the challenge is to sort through your email. Trash what you don’t need and file away the rest.
What I’m Learning:
That when Emma is crying in the middle of the night, you pick her up and she doesn’t even want to eat before she falls back asleep in your arms she’s probably just a little rotten! : )
That two washes, does apparently, make puppy come clean!
Today’s Scripture Meditation:
1 Cor 5:7
“Get rid of the old yeast that you may be a new batch without yeast– as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.”
(NIV)
