This is going to prove to be one of the busiest weekends we’ve had in some time.

Last night, four of my older children attended a birthday party (they had a blast, btw, Sherri!).

Today, they are off to weather school which you can see live HERE, and then on to attend the wedding of a childhood friend.

(Tomorrow, is church and a concert….Papa will be home. Monday is our monthly fellowship group. Tuesday is a quilting class I’m teaching….we might need some prayer, folks!)

I realized a couple weeks back that if I can’t get through church with Jackson there was no way I would make it through a wedding.

Soooo, here I am this morning– at home with all the littles. By myself.
It’s been a LONG time.

I’ve not yet had a shower (or brushed my hair and teeth!). I’m still in jammies….it’s not looking good.

We’ve already pulled out the crackers for Darby (it’s only 8:30). Meredith is walking an invisible dog through the kitchen and I’ve decided
we might all need a cup of cocoa– just to get the day started right. 🙂 (It helps when everyone is feeling happy…the right cocoa is inspirational, you know!)

I’m live blogging our day (I really don’t know why other than to have saved the memory).

I was just telling Paul I know it’s not been that many years since this was my daily life. It seems like a LONG time ago and in some ways, it just seems like yesterday.
