Battery Storage
I am constantly buying batteries. I don’t think we actually even use them much unless the power is out– somehow, every single time we need them, they are in short supply. We’ll find them later. It’s been very frustrating! This is an idea I first saw on Pinterest. I knew it would work great for our family…my issue has been…
He Has a Shiner
It was Benjamin vs. Jackson. (I’m NOT kidding.) I know every man reading this is probably snickering. Me, not so much. When Ben came and told me Jackson (ONE YEAR OLD JACKSON), hit him in the eye yesterday, he said it was hurting but it didn’t seem that bad. How hard could a 1 year old actually hit someone? Boys.
Birthday Gifts
Some time ago, we shared a birthday gift we made for the daughter (well, one of them!), of our sweet friends, the Johnson family. Another daughter celebrated a birthday this past week so we decided to make one for her: I’m fascinated by names and their meanings. It was a huge blessing to work on this project and see the…
Butterflies…
First, to the Dixon family… I’m SO sorry for buying this for your little one’s birthday. I had NO idea the butterflies themselves would be an additional expense. That was disappointing. I had also ordered one for Benjamin for Christmas. He received his caterpillars in the mail a few weeks back. I had no idea they would arrive so quickly,…
We’re Here…
I’m posting updates to this page, from the last few days, in the next few posts. We are still under-the-weather. I think Jess and I are the ones still coughing quite a bit. I will be SO glad not to cough. It’s amazing how you take your everyday health for granted. I am thankful for very good friends who have…
A Quick Note…
Due to the weather conditions and lingering illness in our home, we will NOT be holding our fellowship group this month. The Lord willing, we will see all of your in March!! With love, Tracy
Feeling Weary
Yep. Everyone is still sick here. Well, almost everyone. Joshua and Jacob seem to have made a full recovery and they are fine…back to their normal activities of life. The rest of us are coughing and feeling pretty horrible. It started with some of the littles a few weeks ago. Paul ended up sick (and still had to work!), then…

Organizing Socks and Smaller Clothing Items
While the larger parts of our home have been receiving the most attention, I’ve also been spending some moments here and there on some smaller areas! This was my sock drawer last week: I’m not sure I even wore half of these socks, and one of the fun parts of big family life has been always having to look for…
House Update (Yesterday)
These were taken in the middle of the day: They had finished hanging the drywall on the ceiling!!! By the end of day, some of our walls are up and mudding has started…. Drywall makes such a HUGE difference. I just can’t believe how different it looks.
