It just can’t be true! Has it really been 2 years?! He is a happy little man. He loves to be cuddled and giggles so that the whole room will begin to giggle right along. We’re deep in the beginnings of potty training. He colors with his older siblings and loves to play with bubbles. He reminds me of Jonathan…

Lest You Think….
This house stays perfectly clean, I give you proof it does not: The blogging world can be so deceptive. Paul is constantly reminding me people allow you to see what they want you to see. THIS is the result of a busy day. Courtney set the timer and washed almost a dozen loads of laundry. She and Jessa folded it…
…Man and Wife
The wedding day was perfect. My son was handsome and looking like the man he has grown to be seemingly, overnight. My new daughter-in-law was beautiful and excited. We were surrounded by friends and family. It all still seems a little surreal, but wonderful. Praise God from whom all praises flow….. Please be praying for this new family!!
This Summer…
I guess I’m just becoming so sentimental as the years pass. This summer has been full, overflowing really, with so many good memories. It’s hard to count them all…the Lord has given us so many wonderful gifts. He’s filled our home and our lives with folks that treat us like their own families. We are blessed. I’m trying to catch…

Frozen Night at Chick Fil A
Life isn’t all about the wedding right now. Paul and I took the little girls to see the princesses from Frozen a couple of weeks back:

Joshua’s Engagement

The days flow by, sometimes like a cool small spring and sometimes like a raging river. I think we’re in one of those raging river kind of seasons. As one day ends and the next begins, we…
Mother’s Day 2014
YES! They were all home. I was in my p.j.’s, feeding Owen and in walked Joshua. It made my day. It was this time last year, that my mama passed. That thought never leaves me now. I thought of her in heaven. I do wish she could see my family all together, but I know she would never want to…
Updates and Changing Seasons
Another pregnancy has come and gone. I am in awe of God’s grace and mercy to me this last week. Little Owen’s birth was long, but very easy in comparison to some I’ve had. I’m left with a healthy, precious little one that I just can’t kiss enough. I’m in love and I haven’t even had him a week. He…
These Men Learn Early
I’m not sure I understand, nor will I, the obsession men have with power tools. This is Jackson watching as some family friends came to remove the trees that had fallen around our chicken coop: He hasn’t even turned two yet!
