Tracy / January 23, 2016

This video was taken last night at our local Chamber of Commerce annual meeting. Joshua was asked to be the speaker and to share his latest community project, ject, Bibb County Prays. Paul and I could not be more proud of the work he and his wife are doing in our county. We are thankful to the Lord for His…

Joshua’s Birthday

Tracy / February 11, 2015

Another birthday passes for my sweet son. He is happy and settled into a home, and a growing family of his own. That part has been a little bitter-sweet for me. While I’m happy to see him happy, and I love that he is doing well, I’m also missing him in my home. I didn’t get to make him his…

Tracy / January 16, 2015

Thank you, Joshua and Kylie, for the lovely Christmas gift. I’ve never seen a cup made like this- I’ve excited to get to use it! It was beautiful.

…Man and Wife

Tracy / August 14, 2014

The wedding day was perfect. My son was handsome and looking like the man he has grown to be seemingly, overnight. My new daughter-in-law was beautiful and excited. We were surrounded by friends and family. It all still seems a little surreal, but wonderful. Praise God from whom all praises flow….. Please be praying for this new family!!

Today I’m Thankful For (1000 Gifts)

Tracy / August 13, 2014

181. A beautiful new daughter-in-law 182. Babies growing healthy, joyful and strong 183. Good friends who came to visit our home, yesterday 184. A few days with Paul home this week 185. Watching Jessa learn to sew…really all the children learning new things!

Counting the Days

The wedding is only a couple of days away! My family has finished the sewing projects (for the most part!). We have stacks of supplies by the front door ready for transport tomorrow. The children are excited and my thoughts drift so often to Joshua and how the years have passed. I’ll try and update with pictures as time allows.…

Joshua’s Engagement

(I wrote this blog back in May, but things have just been so busy, too busy, to actually post it with the photos.) The days flow by, sometimes like a cool small spring and sometimes like a raging river. I think we’re in one of those raging river kind of seasons. As one day ends and the next begins, we…

Updates and Changing Seasons

Another pregnancy has come and gone. I am in awe of God’s grace and mercy to me this last week. Little Owen’s birth was long, but very easy in comparison to some I’ve had. I’m left with a healthy, precious little one that I just can’t kiss enough. I’m in love and I haven’t even had him a week. He…

Joshua’s Courtship

Tracy / February 18, 2014

Joshua’s Courtship Life continues to move at the speed of light. Sometimes, I just want to yell “stop”. I squirm under where the Lord leads…struggling with the path He has given. (I do believe the Lord is teaching me to “count it all joy”, even in these areas.) Other times, I find myself rejoicing at how He works in the…

Joshua’s 20th Birthday

Tracy / February 12, 2014

My oldest son is 20. My heart swells a bit when I look at this young man. I remember feeling unworthy for such a sweet blessing the night I had him. It was late. Paul was asleep in the hospital room. I just sat, completely astounded the Lord would bless me with such an awesome responsibility. I’ve often said my…
