Tracy / August 28, 2015

My pregnancy update- week 5….this is technically week 6, but who’s counting. (…and I’m posting in week 9!) So, what’s happening in my world? Well, morning sickness has hit hard. Sunday was the first time. I was at church when hit began to become really awful. I just wanted to lay down in a floor some place and try to…

Preparing for Pregnancy and Babies

An “experienced” mom. That is what I am these days! I don’t feel old enough to be “experienced”, but these lines on my face, this gray hair and all the photos lined up across my living room wall tell stories of days and months and years. Times that I wouldn’t trade for anything. I’ve learned a little bit along the…

Owen at Four Months

Tracy / September 10, 2014

This is just one of many moments when I am so terribly thankful I didn’t stop having babies when folks began to tell me I was too old. 😀 Owen, at four months, is a joyful baby. He has been rolling himself over for a couple of months. He adores anything he can chew on, or can fit in his…

For Thou, O LORD, hast made me glad by what Thou hast done, I will sing for joy at the works of Thy hands. Psalm 92:4 Our church is always thoughtful to throw each new mama and baby a shower to welcome them to the world. (Yes, even a 13th baby!!) These are a few photos from the shower given…

Owen Elias

I’ve not posted many photos from Owen’s birth. Something little (like having a newborn, helping one son buy a house while setting up a second for his new job, FIL having open-heart surgery, and closing Mama’s final affairs, etc.), has kept me from having time to keep posting. Such is life sometimes. In any case…these are photos from baby day.…

Preparing for Baby

This week, Jacob repaired some minor issues with our hot water heater. He also hung a new door in our family room. We’ve done some gardening and yard work and done some much needed cleaning in our basement. I’ve been working on year-long meal plans, the girls and I managed to get more homemade “go-gurts” and some additional freezer meals…

A Quick Tip…

Tracy / January 27, 2014

We’ve been preparing for our new little one. We bought him an outfit for coming home, and a new blanket.  He has some new sleepers.  I’m making most everything else. Several of his items were tied in sweet ribbons.  I don’t normally spend a lot of time on packaging, but this time I decided to save them.

Jackson is Sleeping!! Woohoo!!! (Baby Schedule)

Tracy / September 28, 2012

SIX straight hours!! That is how many hours our little one slept last night. Ahhhh….sweet sleep! I truly believe I am a better person if I can just have a little sleep at night. Well, maybe more than a little. A little is pretty much all I’ve been getting this last several weeks. This little guy has had an attraction…

Incredibly Blessed

Tracy / August 24, 2012

There are just no other words. We’re at home. Everyone is settling into our normal routine. We have a sweet, squishy, little boy hanging around. He has a line of folks always waiting to hold him and kiss him. Have I mentioned how wonderful he smells?? ….and his fuzzy little head just calls for me to sit and rub it…

Today’s To-Do List (August 2, 2012)

Before I begin, Barbara and Heidi, you have both been in my thoughts this morning. I’ll be praying for you today! We, also got pretty great news. Paul had some tests ran earlier this week that came back normal- (praise GOD!). We know that while he is not feeling well, these issues can be fixed with medication (hopefully, short term!),…
