Based on the song, “Good Good Father”, this week, I’m reviewing Good Good Father by Chris Tomlin and Pat Barrett, published by Tommy Nelson.

I had not heard this song before this week. I am realizing I must have had my head stuck in the sand, or something.

Everyone except me seems to be familiar with it- I can understand . I have found myself listening to it through the recent weeks while I’ve been thinking about this blog post. It is a beautiful, worshipful song. Turning it into a book for children is an amazing idea. I’m excited to add this book to our home library!

Tucker's Friends, book review, Chris Tomlin, Good Good Father
He travels through his town as he seeks ideas and meets many wonderful new friends. They each suggest a different gift- and each shares an applicable attribute of the king.

Upon meeting him, he realizes the king is all he needs.

…just like, THE king is all we need. 🙂

*I love stories that plant seeds of my faith to my children.*

  1. The boys love to read veggie tales. We have so many of them!
My favorite book to read to them is: oh the places you’ll go by dr suess

    1. We love Goodnight Moon. My younger children start saying goodnight to everything after I read it to them. I never pass up a new copy at the thrift store…we wear those books out!

  2. We read I Love You Stinky Face very often. My kiddos have all loved it and the voices that we created to go along with each scene of the book.
