Book Review: Really Woolly Nighttime Lullabies

I remember Really Woolly from my younger years! Those sweet little lambs with positive messages sharing faith…I specifically remember having stickers in my sticker collection (did you have a sticker collection?!).

Opening this month’s box from Tommy Nelson brought back a flood of memories! I’m glad to share them with my little ones now.

Jackson has officially adopted this copy of Really Woolly Nighttime Lullabies, as his own. In fact, when I started to pick it up to write my review, he asked if he could have it back when I am done.

One of my favorite parts of the book is that it draws a child’s attention to the world around them. So often, I tell my children the world could have been very drab with all black and white…no color. The Lord loved us so much, he chose to paint the sky and the trees and bugs and flowers in such beautiful, vibrant colors! How blessed we should feel!

This is a board book with a padded cover and rounded corners.

It has right under 20 selections that include scripture and prayers that very young children can understand. The passages are perfect reading for before. They leave a child with peaceful thoughts of a loving Father.

These are just the things I love to read to my littles just before they go to bed each night(though they are not lullabies as the title suggests).

Would you like to win your own copy of this sweet book?

I’m giving a copy away on March 31st! See details below.

*I was given a copy of this book on my site, by the publisher. I was not required to leave a positive review.

This giveaway is only open to residents of the US.

  1. The Poky Little Puppy and Ten in the Bed are two I’ve enjoyed reading to my children through the years. Now that the grands come to visit, we’ve added a few more, but I’m always game for something new! 😉
