We’ve had the flu.
I’ve come to appreciate (is that the way I really want to word what I’m thinking?), germs.
When you have a larger than average family, by the time illness circulates through everyone, it’s likely to have mutated and could go all the way through again.
Isn’t that fun?
I think most my friends realize we are hyper-sensitive about germs because of this very thing. We will avoid making others sick at all costs and I detest knowing my little ones are sick.
We try to be considerate of others and consider this part of “loving our neighbor” when we avoid folks when we know we might possibly be sick. 🙂
All that said, we have had/have the flu. Almost everyone here has had it and up until yesterday, I thought Courtney, Paul and I might avoid it completely. This morning, with no warning, I woke up with no voice. I think the remainder of this week might not be so fun (not that the last two have been much fun, either).
Some of us are feeling better now (some us are feeling MUCH better). Others (Owen and Jackson), are having a very difficult time.
I’ve been grateful for the Lord blessing us with amazing weather as I think pretty much the best possible thing for illness is fresh air and sunshine.
Please pray for our family as we recover.
