House Hunting

It’s been a strange experience- helping Joshua look for a home of his own.

I love him and I want him to be happy, and have a family of his own. The other part of me knows I’m going to miss him horribly. The days of my entire family being under one roof are soon to be over.

After several weeks of looking and praying that the Lord would open a door, it seems Joshua may have found a great house.

He has handled this with boldness and purpose.

After negotiation with the owner, ALL of the repairs and upgrades have been made at the owner expense. These were all things listed after an inspection, (and some the owner just decided to do after meeting Josh).

I know there are many women out there who have had to let go- I’m not the first. Honestly, it is making me sad.

Joshua is a blessing in my home.

It has been a wonderful experience to watch him grow, over the years. in many ways, I have grown through him and with him.

I thank the Lord for the opportunities given to this young man. He has faced life with joy and a thankful heart.

Sweet Joshua, I’m so proud of you. No matter where you go or what you do, my heart and prayers will always be with you.

Though my heart hurts to see you go, it equally rejoices at the man you have become.

May the Lord’s face always shine upon you, my precious son.
(Thanks Jennifer, for letting me know about the typo! :D)
