Herb Garden

This is my herb garden! I am enjoying it so much. Yesterday, while outside, I noticed that that there were several tiny purple butterflies that seemed to be enjoying it as much as I do.

Believe it or not, I’ve never been a big outdoors person, I’m not really sure why I am developing a love for it now, but gardening is fast becoming one of my favorite hobbies.

We have gotten our second square foot garden built. It is already home to 5 tomato plants. Today, we’re going to add 2 eggplants. I’m not sure what we’ll add to the other squares, maybe carrots and beans?

I’m limited in choice to the seeds that I already have because all of the stores have already stopped
carrying seeds for the season! I really thought that they would have them until the end of June. Oh well.

You may notice the new Yahoo Groups logo on the side and bottom of our screen now! We’re so excited to
have an online group!! I hope it’s a start to a great online fellowship!

Being on the computer is no fun this morning. It has been turning itself on and off…my sweet hubby tells
me that he’s going to breathe life back into it this evening. I sure hope so!

Prayer Requests

I have now been scheduled to have one of my wisdom teeth pulled and two more cut out! UGH! Please pray for me. I hate dental work. This procedure is scheduled for 3 1/2 weeks from now.

Our preparations for Matthew’s birthday celebration. We’re getting so excited!!

Hannah Greenlaw’s toe. We were at her house and she pulled the front door open on her toe. Her little toenail looked pretty rought last night!

Today I’m Thankful For

Our first banana pepper is ready to pick and we have four little watermelon plants sticking their heads up
from the soil.

We’re scheduled for rain next week!

Our new YAHOO group!

An early start to my day.

The coming weekend….we’re going to enjoy celebrating Matthew’s birthday and spending some time with my Mom.

Tracy’s Task

It’s time again to think of a sweet way to take some time out for your husband. This doesn’t have to be anything too complicated…just some time out to remember your marriage.

What I’m Learning

I think that Walmart is the center of the universe. It never fails that as soon as we walk through the doors we’re going to see almost everyone we know! We were so blessed to run into several old friends in the store last night, one of which ran up and hugged me. It was so nice to see them. I’m so thankful for people like this in my life!

Today’s Scripture Meditation

Prov 27:9
“Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of one’s friend springs from his earnest counsel.”
(NIV)

Prov 18:24

“A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”
(NIV)
